Since most publishers need more than one ISBN for each new release, we have decided to offer a block of ISBNs for a single title. Remember, each version of a published work requires a unique ISBN number.

A block can be used to publish a print, Kindle, ePub (Nook), and an iTunes version, all with unique ISBNs. This includes unique barcodes for inclusion on the back cover. Each version will be added to the Books in Print database, and will receive free advertising on our advertising channels.

A block of four ISBNs for a single title is available, and members can add up to four additional ISBNs for that single title.

A block of three ISBNs for a single title is available, and members may add up to three additional ISBNs for that single title.

Single ISBNs are still available.

Pricing available on request.

Welcome to The Publishing Consortium, LLC. Our membership consists of independent publishing companies.

Because our members work together, we offer substantial discounts on publishing tools, advertising and ISBN numbers. A single American ISBN from Bowker is expensive. Our group rates include a UPC code ready to insert into a back cover image for each ISBN, and discounted blocks for single titles lower the cost further. Pricing available on request. All books are added to Books In Print.

To join, there is an annual fee of $25.00 for each imprint. For the annual fee, publishers receive free banner advertisements on our website, plus the ability to post the covers in our New Books in Print section, with links going to wherever the publisher desires — Amazon, B&N, Smashwords, Kobo, or their own store or website.

Members may decide to have their ISBNs list The Publishing Consortium, LLC, as the ISBN owner, or they may decide to have their press listed as an imprint.
