Because our members work together, we offer substantial discounts on publishing tools, advertising and ISBN numbers. A single American ISBN costs $125.00 from Bowker. Our group rates are $9.00 for each ISBN, and includes a UPC code ready to insert into a back cover image. Discounted blocks for single titles can drop the cost down to $5 per ISBN. All books are added to Books In Print.
To join, there is an annual fee of $25.00 for each imprint. For the annual fee, publishers receive free banner advertisements on our website, plus the ability to post the covers in our New Books in Print section, with links going to wherever the publisher desires — Amazon, B&N, Smashwords, Kobo, or their own store or website.
Members may decide to have their ISBNs list The Publishing Consortium, LLC, as the ISBN owner, or they may decide to have their press listed as an imprint.
